Tetra, flannel, bamboo or muslin diaper?
Tetra and flannel diaper, bamboo or muslin?
On the list of layette lists to buy, you will always find several diapers whether they are tetra, bamboo or flannel.Of course, the number of diapers depends on how you will use them.
What can a tetra diaper be used for?
Ø To protect our clothes when taking a toddler to bounce. The baby does not directly touch our clothes. Hygiene is preserved as well as our clothes won't get dirty if the baby spills food while bouncing.
Ø For wiping the baby's mouth when he or she sheds food or when he or she drools excessively.
Ø For covering the car window when the sun shines on it .
Ø For cuddling. Tetra diapers accompany children from their first days. That's why babies often find their favorite cuddly/sleeping toy in them.
Ø For wrapping the newborn in the so-called cocoon, which nullifies the Moro reflex and the baby feels a tightness similar to the tightness in the mother's belly.
What can a bamboo diaper be used for?
Actually it serves the same purpose as a tetra diaper with the difference that on a diaper created from bamboo viscose bacteria are less likely to multiply, thus it has antibacterial properties. Also this material is not allergenic.
What can a muslin diaper be used for?
Actually it is used for the same purpose as a tetra diaper, except that the diaper is cuddly to the touch.
What can a flannel diaper be used for?
Ø To be placed on the changing table or other place where we put the baby to play or change. Then we are sure that the baby is lying on something clean and can be washed at any time if it gets dirty. The advantage is a shorter drying time comparable to a blanket.
Ø To put under the baby's head in the crib. Tiny babies often urinate. The diaper is easier to change even several times during the day than to wash the whole sheet.
